Water Operator Math Refresher Workshop

The Indiana Section AWWA, in conjunction with the Indiana Rural Water Association, will be conducting two Water Operator Math Refresher Workshops in Greenwood and Kokomo. This workshop will provide training and practice on water math problems that have been gathered from various sources, including past water certification tests. There will be information on calculating chlorine residuals, flow, backwash rates, volume, lime application, velocity, chemical formulas, voltage, and many other questions that are common to the water certification tests.
There will be handouts to help organize formulas and ways to approach problems.
A pre-test and post-test will also be given to gauge one’s understanding during the program.
