Sustainable Management of Rural and Small Systems Workshop
Many communities need a culture shift from being reactive to being proactive, and that requires planning. Why?; to control your future rather than having it control you, to set priorities and solve problems, to promote creativity, to show responsibility and to lead policy decisions. It is critical that communities dedicate resources to this process and understand that all parties need a seat at the table – this requires teamwork for this to work.
The workshop will discuss and allow participants to learn about key utility management areas, introduce the concept of a self-assessment process, and provide tool for a performance evaluation
