Southwest District Fall Meeting 2018

The Indiana Section AWWA Southwest District will hold their Fall District Meeting on September 5, 2018 at the Wilson Shelter House in Bedford. Registration is NOW OPEN. Join your peers for a day of educational presentations and networking. Topics for the day include pipe assessment, hydrants and maintenance, and uncirculating water in distribution system dead-ends.

Gimmicks & Gadgets Contest
If you have ever solved a problem for your utility by inventing some sort of tool or new method for getting a job done more quickly, better, or for less cost to the utility, then you have created a gimmick or gadget. This is your opportunity to share your idea with your peers in the water industry – and possibly win one of the prizes awarded to the top three entries! Submit a brief description of your clever idea, along with photos or illustrations, to Dawn Keyler (megan.fleming@inawwa.org) by July 31. More information can be found on the attached flyer:
Meter Madness Competition
We will have our meter madness competitions at each of the Fall District Meetings. The winner at each District will represent their District at the competition held at our Indiana Section’s 2019 Annual Conference with the winner from that competition advancing to ACE19 in Denver. The 2019 meter is the 5/8-inch x 3/4/-inch Master Meter Bottom Lead Multi-Jet (BLMJ) Meter. Sign up information and the link to order your practice meter can be found at the link below:
