Lead & Copper Rule Revisions – Beyond Drinking Water

Description for Event Entry:
The EPA is in the process of finalizing the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR), which will impact water treatment systems in many ways including evaluations of corrosion control treatments (CCTs) that could result in the addition of orthophosphate as a corrosion inhibitor. A secondary impact is the potential increase in phosphorous loading to wastewater treatment facilities.
