This will be a class helping system owners and operators understand the various options that are available to “upgrade and improve” existing pumping and control systems.
Recently completed infrastructure upgrade projects, with applications including potable water, non-potable water, sanitary and stormwater, will all be examined.
There will be discussion about newer technologies with added life expectancy and higher efficiency for the entire pumping and control system operation.
There will be time dedicated specifically to SCADA Communication options,
Protocols, Software, Hardware, Trending, Report Generation, Alarm Notification, Multi-Factor Authentication, etc. with an emphasis on comparing and contrasting “Traditional SCADA” versus “Cloud Based SCADA” and the Security, Reliability, Maintenance, and Cost associated with each.
