What happens when a Municipal Water Well fails.
This workshop will be held at the Greenfield Water Utility Administration building and will give water professionals an overview of the process of putting in a new large capacity production well. This will be a case study that will cover the lessons learned from Greenfield Water Utilities experience.
Topics covered will include:
Overview of the Greenfield Water system
Discovering the failure, and the steps taken to save the well
Well site location considerations, and the discussions with property owners
Pipeline design and construction process
Well & well house design build, how to provide power and communication to the site
Start up and final testing of the new well
Virtual Tour of the Well House
