August 2, 2020 YP Committee & Gift of Water Volunteer Event

The YP Committee is excited to team up with Gift of Water (website: https://giftofwater.org/), a non-profit organization based out of Carmel, Indiana, to host a volunteer “build day” on Sunday, August 2nd, from 12pm-3pm to build bucket water purifier units that will then be shipped and distributed to established organizations throughout Haiti.
Keeping in mind the necessary precautions to prevent Covid-19 and the nature of the hands-on type volunteering, we are limited to a total of 15 volunteers during the 3 hour event (it will just be our YP group) in the large warehouse. Gift of Water will provide training, masks, hand sanitizers, etc. for the event and we will practice social distancing as we work.
