The City of Greenfield is excited to announce the opening of two career opportunities. We are seeking a Water Operations Assistant- Treatment, and a Water Operations Assistant- Distribution.
The successful candidate for Water Operations Assistant- Treatment should be willing to work indoors and outdoors, work with computer systems to operate groundwater wells, filtration equipment and other treatment systems, and take the initiative to learn and perform regulated tasks and laboratory processes in the operation of two water treatment plants as part of a professional team.
The successful candidate for Water Operations Assistant- Distribution should be willing to work indoors and outdoors, work with various tools and equipment; take the initiative to learn and perform water main appurtenance construction tasks in a growing a distribution system as part of a professional team.
These positions will have the opportunity to earn entry into the Greenfield Water Utility Apprenticeship program to become a journey worker.
