November 3-7, 2025 Intensive Drinking Water Operator Exam Review

A first of its kind, we are proud to bring you this intensive certification exam preparation course offered in collaboration between Indiana American Water, Indiana Department of Environmental Management, the Alliance of Indiana Rural Water and the Indiana Section, American Water Works Association. 

The event offers a four-day intensive study and review program in preparation for individuals to take the Indiana certification exam for Water Distribution (DSS, DSM or DSL) or Water Treatment (WT1, WT2, WT3, WT4 & WT5) operator certification.

Instructed by Scott Ham, Monday – Thursday from 8:00-4:00p. Following the 32 hours of instruction, the written exam will be proctored by IDEM staff on the final day (Friday) in your choice of two sittings, either the 8:00-11:00am or 1:00-4:00p time frame. Morning refreshments and lunch are included. Registration closes on August 31^st – Limited seating is available for this event so don’t delay, register today.

For eligibility to sit for the exam, participants must have the following prerequisites:  

•  An approved exam application on file with IDEM by September 23, 2025.
• Your choice of books; either from the AWWA Bookstore or Sacramento (see below)
