Purpose and Objectives

To encourage student and younger water industry professionals to take an active role in the Association. Young professionals are members age 35 and under, or those new to the water industry. This includes those working for utilities, regulatory agencies, consulting fi rms, or academic institutions. AWWA considers all of its members to be water industry professionals. The YPs represent a dynamic and energetic group of AWWA members, led by the YP Committee, the mission of which is to encourage student and younger water industry professionals to take an active role in the Association.
