2020 Annual Conference

Our 112th Annual Conference will be held January 27-30, 2020 at the Marriott Hotel in Downtown Indianapolis. Room reservations made be made at the following link. Rates are $145/night + tax. Parking is an additional cost. Please note that room availability at the Marriott is extremely limited. If you are unable to make a reservation there, we have a block of rooms at the Courtyard at the JW Marriott (connected via a tunnel) at the rate of $139/night + tax and parking. The link to that reservation site is below as well. Parking at the JW will be 50% off their posted rate.
Additional parking is available at Gate Ten Events and Parking – just south of Lucas Oil Stadium. They offer flat, one-day rates in their fully lit lot which is secured and patrolled 24 hours a day. Reservations are not required; however, If you wish to secure reservations in advance, you may do so at their website. If you are driving in for the day, you are strongly encouraged to use Gate 10, as parking at the hotel for daily visitors will be extremely limited, if available at all.
Our Technical Program Committee has been hard at work preparing an informative and exciting program. A draft program is now available. Please note that this is preliminary and subject to change.
Registration is NOW OPEN for all attendees. Please be sure to use the correct form below – either utility personnel (any individual that works for a utility) or non-exhibiting service providers (anyone who doesn’t work for a utility). Note: If you are an exhibiting company looking to add additional personnel, please contact our office.

Each booth includes 2 registrations, 2 chairs, a table, 110-volt electricity and an wastebasket. Your display MUST fit inside your booth, so please purchase the proper booth size.
YP Fresh Ideas Poster Submission
We are currently accepting submissions for our annual Young Professionals Fresh Ideas Poster submission. Who can enter? Any student or young professional willing to present a project (poster) that addresses a water, stormwater or wastewater related research or project. Posters will be on display during the exhibit hall on Tuesday, January 28. Judging will take place during the morning with a winner being announced at lunch that day. Presenters must be available at their poster to answer questions related to their project. To submit your abstract, please visit the following link:
Call for Abstracts
We are currently accepting abstracts for our 2020 conference. The deadline for submitting your abstract is September 20, 2019. Criteria for selection to the conference will include originality, technical content, significance of work, and abstract quality. When submitting your abstract, please follow the items below:
- Abstracts must be between 100 and 200 words, typed. Any graphs, sketches, tables, etc., can be included at this time.
- Please address the question of “What are the main purpose and conclusions of your work?” Abstract must clearly define the objectives, status, methodology, findings, and significance of the project.
In addition to submitting your abstract below, a short biography must also be included for all the individuals who will be presenting at the conference. The biographies submitted will be read before the presentation and should not exceed 150 words. Only the individual that submits the abstract below will be notified of its acceptance. A representative from the Technical Committee will contact you once the submitted abstracts have been reviewed. If your abstract is selected, your presentation must be submitted to the Technical Committee by the deadline given in the acceptance letter and listed on the conference website. When submitting your presentation, please follow the items below:
- Presentations should be in Microsoft PowerPoint or Adobe PDF.
- Company logos may only appear on the first and last slide of the presentation.
- Presentation must mirror information provided in abstract.
The Technical Committee will review presentations before the conference. Any presentations that differ significantly from the submitted abstract, appear to be a sales pitch for a product or company, or do not meet the above guidelines may be rejected by the Committee and an alternative presentation selected.
