Purpose and Objectives

The Small Systems Committee focus is on serving and educating small to medium utilities and training associated with water treatment and utility management. It is the intent of this Committee to facilitate and empower utilities to become effective stewards of our water resources. Our objectives are to help provide information and coordinate solutions regarding any aspect of water utility management and operations thru use of a newsletter and AWWA website postings, mentoring, and through partnership and agency coordination with IDEM and IRWA to manage technical assistance workshops, developing written materials, and other opportunities as they become available.
