Purpose and Objectives
The AWWA Indiana Section’s Emergency Response Committee was formed to help improve our industry’s response
in times of emergencies. The Committee’s objectives are to help our member utilities prepare for and respond in
the event of a major Midwest earthquake or an outbreak of the bird flu pandemic, and to help create and support the
Indiana Water and Wastewater Agency Response Network (InWARN). http://www.inwarn.org/
