The mission of the Education Committee is to coordinate with other organizations having common goals, to facilitate membership education and constantly assess the training needs of the membership and work to fulfill those needs. The Education Committee provides Indiana Section Members with the opportunity to fulfill the continuing education requirements necessary to maintain operator certification by: co-sponsoring a minimum of two education seminars that are certified by the State of Indiana to provide at least 10 contact hours, and sponsoring one education seminar that will be certified by the State of Indiana to provide at least five contact hours for maintaining operator certification. The Education Committee will also assist in the education of water consumers.
