2005 Legislative Update – View discussions on matters of legislative concern for the 2005 session.
Refer to the 2005 Legislative Calendar for key dates and deadlines which occur between now and the statutory "last day to adjourn.
When the Legislature is in session, we will report legislative activity that is of interest to AWWA members, updating this page regularly. All 2005 materials will be archived at the end of the year.
As information on the 2005 session becomes available, it will be posted here. The Water Utility Council monitors legislation of interest to the drinking water industry as it is introduced in the Indiana General Assembly, and tracks its movement through the legislative process. Included in the portion of the Web Site is a listing of bills in the Senate and the House which are of interest. Information on these bills includes a digest of the proposal, its current status, links to the latest text, and a summary of actions taken as the bills progress or fail to progress through the General Assembly.
