Purpose and Objectives

The Water Sustainability Committee will advance technical profi ciency, institutional practices and public policy to advocate the sustainable development, protection, and management of water resources in the State of Indiana for use as drinking water supplies. The concept of Total Water Management will serve as the basis for assuring a sustainable supply of drinking water for Indiana residents. The Committee will develop and provide information on Indiana’ surface and groundwater resources, use, and management and help cultivate water conservation and reuse programs, practices and research.
