Purpose and Objectives
INAWWA has five districts (Northwest, Northeast, Central, Southwest, and Southeast) and each District conducts a spring and a fall meeting. Typically, these meetings are half-day events which cover different timely topics. In addition to earning contact hours, this is also a time for operators to get together to discuss issues at their system, learn about new State/Federal regulations and programs, and network with their peers.
The Districts are a good way to get involved in the Indiana Section AWWA without a major time commitment. There is a planning meeting prior to each District meeting and attendance on the day of the meeting. It is a four-year commitment to go through all of the positions in a District.
