Who We Are
An AWWA Young Professional (YP) is defined as any person under 35 years of age or new to the water industry (within the last than 10 years). Young Professionals work at water plants, utility offices, engineering firms, regulatory agencies, manufacturers, sales representative firms, educational institutions and more. We are an energetic group of AWWA members with much to offer the Association.

Mission Statement
The mission of the IN AWWA YP Committee is to:
• Promote involvement of young professionals at the state and national level.
• Facilitate involvement of young professionals on research and technical committees.
• Develop programs to mentor young professionals.
• Exchange ideas between members.


Upcoming Events
The YP Committee is actively planning various social and service activities for the year. Our goal is to provide opportunities to meet others who work within the water industry across the state and to have a great time in the process. Upcoming events include:
