Purpose and Objectives
The Operator’s School Committee provides training for water works operators designed to prepare them for taking the IDEM Operator Certifi cation Exams in water treatment and water distribution. The 12-week course begins in August ending 1 week prior to the November exams. During June of each year, the Operator School announcement is mailed to all water utility managers and posted to the Indiana Section AWWA Website.
